Your photos are used only to run the features you ask for — closet tagging, outfit feedback, color analysis. The app asks for explicit consent before the first photo is ever shared with an AI provider, your data isn't used to train AI models without opt-in, and you can delete your photos or your entire account from the Me tab at any time.

StyleSage is honest about being AI-powered — and about exactly what that means:
Who processes your photos. Styling advice, outfit tagging, and color analysis run on Anthropic's Claude. Clean cut-out images of your clothes are created by fal.ai, which processes images transiently and doesn't retain them. Your data is not used to train AI models without your explicit opt-in.
You consent first. Before your first photo is ever sent to an AI provider, the app asks permission and names exactly what is shared and with whom. Decline, and photo features simply don't run.
You can always see why. Every recommendation comes with its reasoning — StyleSage tells you why an outfit works, not just that it does.
You stay in control. Delete all your photos, or your entire account and its data, from the Me tab — immediately, no email required. The full detail lives in our Privacy Policy.
AI styling advice is exactly that — styling advice from a warm, well-read friend. It's not professional, medical, or body-image counsel, and it never pretends to be.
